As a senior manager, you are expected to perform your role at a higher level than a manager and we need you to lead from the front, constantly reminding those around you about what good looks like and how to achieve it.
You should be able to anticipate, manage and resolve challenging situations with greater confidence.
Strategic development of our clients is key and as a senior manager it is expected that you put far more focus on this compared with a manager. You are an expert in all things digital media and will assist the Head of Performance Media in building out the team’s offering.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimise performance media campaigns for allocated clients, ensuring all aspects of performance are monitored to maximise performance.
  • Responsible for producing achievable, engaging forecasts and targets for our clients and then ensure they are delivered.

  • Maintain high levels of satisfaction and retention of clients across the function, regularly meeting with them to plan, execute, and monitor campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other members of Equator, in particular the marketing team and client services, in order to deliver in line with client goals.
  • Remain current on the latest industry trends, the broader digital media landscapes, guidelines, and changes.
  • Assist in the co-ordination, allocation and management of budgets across channel activities, internally and externally.
  • Provide reports on completed activities and share campaign results with wider team to evaluate success, failures and suggest ways to improve and innovate for future projects, following identification of relevant measures to effectively monitor success.
  • Build relationships with a wide pool of external publishers, establishing, maintaining and growing partnerships for Equator and our clients, leveraging these to achieve the best deals and performance for our clients.
  • You always demonstrate high standards of ethics and integrity.
  • You’ll be partly responsible for sharing learnings and updates with the marketing team and wider business when appropriate and integrating wherever possible.
  • You’ll be accountable for establishing and following processes within the team, organising and prioritising workload whilst working to deadlines and allocated budgets.
  • Proactivity in using, identifying, and testing AI tools that will improve the team’s delivery and offering whilst adhering to GDPR regulation.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • You have a background in at least one (or both) of Programmatic Display/Affiliate marketing, with an understanding of the roles they play in the wider Digital Marketing mix
  • Additional knowledge of Social Media marketing would be beneficial
  • Proven experience of delivering performance media campaigns
  • Proven experience of working with/managing 3rd party partners
  • You are an inspirational and motivational leader
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • A good eye for design and formatting
  • You are forward-thinking and proactive
  • Strong analytical skills
  • You build great rapport with clients, publishers and your colleagues
  • You are responsible for ensuring you are aware of the standards and policies issued by the Company and are expected to follow and maintain them.
  • You are proficient at using industry leading tools, including but not limited to:
    • Google Tag Manager
    • Google Analytics
    • Campaign Manager 360
    • AWIN
    • WebGains
    • StackAdapt
