The role
You play a key role in the development and implementation of Performance Media strategies for our clients and the growth of Equator’s Performance Media offering overall. You will be responsible for creating strategies that hit or exceed client targets and expectations while helping to expand the volume and type of campaigns that we run.
Main Responsibilities
You are responsible for working across the Performance Marketing channels, mainly affiliate marketing, programmatic display advertising, and social media marketing.
You assist the Head of Performance Media in the definition and delivery of Equator's Performance Marketing strategy, ensuring that our high standards are met across all client campaigns.
Your role also involves:
- Developing achievable, engaging targets for our clients and ensure they are delivered.
- Provide support to the client services team, acting as a point of escalation for all Performance Marketing clients, as well as assisting in delivering client-specific strategies for campaigns.
- Remain current on the latest industry trends, guidelines and changes, and ensure the team do the same.
- Monitor and identify the best technologies to enhance our services.
- Assist in the communication of Performance Marketing activity and strategy to the wider business through regular presentations, case studies and company communications.
- Seek out and embrace fresh and innovative Ideas to meet client requirements and to continue to position ourselves as the number one leading digital agency.
- Work with the business development team to identify and act upon sales opportunities.
- Ensure we have a strong presence externally, championing attendance and participation at relevant industry events on a regular basis.
The Ideal Candidate
- You have a background in at least one (or both) of Programmatic Display/Affiliate marketing, with an understanding of the roles they play in the wider Digital Marketing mix
- Additional knowledge of Social Media marketing would be beneficial.
- Are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate your forward-thinking and proactive nature.
- Have strong organisational skills.
- Build great rapport with clients and your colleagues.
- Possess educated and justified opinions and are respected and inspiring.
- Have strong influencing skills and are a comfortable networker.
- Have a core understanding of AI tools and how these can streamline tasks and create efficiencies in your work whilst adhering to GDPR regulation.
