Associate Marketing Director (Maternity Cover)


The role

The successful candidate will support the team to develop, implement, track, and optimise our marketing campaigns across all digital channels. They will establish strong relationships with each team member and proactively support their development as an Equator employee. This role will also hold good relationships with our Business Unit leaders and wider client services team, working with them to keep client satisfaction and job profitability high.  The successful individual will collaborate well with all other teams within business as required in order to maximise the opportunities for our clients and to encourage knowledge building within the Marketing team. 


Please note, this is a hybrid role with 2 days per week workin in our Glasgow office.


  • Manage, mentor and motivate the marketing team to deliver high quality campaigns and results 

  • Strive to deliver maximum profitability for the business, ensuring the team remain highly utilised, supporting with the completion of relevant reports to maintain visibility of relevant KPI’s 

  • Oversee the strategy for a group of key lead clients, working with the team to deliver campaigns in line with industry standards 

  • Support the development of integrated marketing plans and budgets 

  • Ensure the team provide achievable, engaging targets for our clients and support them to deliver these 

  • Support the team in delivering consistent and accurate reports to monitor campaign results 

  • Ensure all the team’s time is logged daily in the time management system 

  • Liaise with other internal departments, mainly client services, production and business development

Skills & attributes

Is it for you?

  • You have proven experience across all aspects of digital marketing, and can easily demonstrate the benefits of integrated campaigns 

  • You are a natural leader with at least 2 years’ experience of managing, training and motivating a large team 

  • You build great rapport with clients and relevant stakeholders 

  • You are proficient at using industry leading tools, for example: Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Google Campaign Manager
