Ask Tili – Your home move assistant

Equator were given the challenging brief by Spark to design and build an innovative new product that would transform the Energy Market through delivering a “one-stop-shop” for tenants to set-up all their essential home services.

Intro.

The Challenge.

The aim of the project was to create a simple home move experience, which would maximise the value of each home move opportunity for Spark and their partners. This would be achieved through embedded GDPR compliance, improved data collection, increased direct debit uptake and the monetisation of customer leads.

Insights.

Maximise value, engagement and opportunities

The purpose of the Tili solution was to maximise value of each home move opportunity, improve engagement with their users and create opportunity through post-sale engagement.

 

The objective for Equator in creating this solution was to provide Spark with a modern and secure end-to-end solution that would be able to give customers and letting agents a user-friendly and simple service for setting up necessities during home moves. It was also necessary for the solution to be compliant with GDPR and be able to support multiple third-party integrations to deliver the various services and to facilitate data flow between Tili and Spark.

Connections.

A fully integrated system with five core services.

Collaborating with our sister agency, 999 Design, the first key challenge was to establish a new brand identity which would place the solution as a leader in the marketplace. After a 3-month brand development exercise, Tili: your home move assistant was born.

 

The new Tili solution would serve the needs of five key users: moving tenants, telephony agents, Tili administrators, Letting Agent Partners, and telephony managers. A comprehensive strategy exercise was undertaken to evaluate the requirements and needs of each respective user. Once complete, simple and effective user journeys were created, allowing them to satisfy their individual requirements. This resulted the creation of five core services: self service channel, telephony channel, admin portal, brochure-ware site and Umbraco CMS.

Results.

First of its kind within the industry.

This project was complex from both a design and development delivery, however the result is an intelligent user journey which we believe exists as the first of its kind within the industry.

 

Since going live there have been thousands of sign ups and a 6 figure sum generated in revenue. Spark has also gained multiple new partners since go live, with an estimated opportunity of over a quarter of a million leads.
