An interactive, in-store touchscreen wall to showcase the luxury luggage brand within Selfridges landmark department store in London.

A visual showcase

We worked with Samsonite to develop its retail space within London’s Selfridges including the technology to provide a visual showcase for the brand’s range of travel and lifestyle products. Our challenge was to develop and design content for a touchscreen that would provide a showcase for Samsonite’s great variety of luxury travel products.

Connections

Connecting online and in-store

The purchasing process for consumers today is multi-faceted and by ‘connecting’ the online and in-store experience, we quite literally provided the Samsonite customer with the innovative experience they associate with the brand.

The interactive screen was designed to create an engaging in-store experience for customers, satisfying the ever-increasing demand for advanced travel solutions and knowledge at a touch of the screen.

The wall itself enabled customers to learn more and explore the Samsonite brand with an interactive product catalogue, revolving products, films, product specifications, colour selections, customer reviews and more.

Ideas

Our goal was to achieve maximum brand standout and presence for the Samsonite concession within the luggage department at Selfridges, London. Selfridges, and the Samsonite concession in particular, attracts shoppers from all over the world. The copy and visual iconography used had to work across all language barriers. An intuitive, ‘less is more’ approach worked well for this project.

Through the application of innovative design solutions and complex technology, we designed a new way to present the pioneering brand products in an engaging way. The focus was on delivering a streamlined and connected customer experience and create the beginning of a continually updating story that Samsonite customers can experience at Selfridges.
