Equator shortlisted in Drum awards
Congratulations are in order down at Elliot Street as Equator was recognised in two different categories in this year’s Drum Marketing Awards nominations.
Our dynamic SEO team and our very own Senior PR & Social Media Consultant Ruth O’Brien have been shortlisted in their respective categories of SEO Strategy of the Year and Rising Star of the Year.
The SEO team has been nominated for its work with AXA Business Insurance, implementing a pioneering strategy which delivered the big numbers that we so pride ourselves on.
AXA BI saw incredible results following the campaign including a staggering 75% year-on-year increase in organic revenue and a 68% year-on-year increase in organic sales.
The impressive outcome was a result of the fully integrated approach adopted by our clever SEOers which aligned not only AXA’s brand values of being attentive, reliable and available, but also its other marketing initiatives including social media, PPC and email.
The Rising Star category of the Drum Marketing Awards is reserved for those who, despite having four years or less marketing experience, have made a splash in marketing during the past year.
Having helped grow the Equator PR Team from two to eight members since its launch in 2014 – we’ve known that Ruth has been a rising star for a while now!
Ruth has dedicated much of her time in the past year to training up other members of the team to her level of social media expertise – all while meeting the demands of a rapidly growing client portfolio.
And not only did our Ruth meet these demands – but has delivered innovative work for brands such as Caorunn and helped develop and execute an award-winning campaign for business incubator Entrepreneurial Spark.
We’re delighted that her hard work and dedication has been recognised in her nomination and have our fingers crossed that she’ll be bringing home another award for her shelf come May.
Congratulations again to Ruth and our wonderful SEO team – we are all looking forward to the awards and wish all of you the best of luck!
