A New Year and a new look for Adwords

Forever a proponent of change in the SERPs, Adwords is no different when it comes to its own interface. For some of us (where the changes were implemented as part of Google’s quiet roll-out during last year) the new look will be less, well, new but for others, the interface looks quite a bit different. So what’s changed specifically?

Re-shuffles. Don’t panic, the Help option hasn’t disappeared; it’s just re-located – along with Account Settings and Billings – to behind a cog icon in the top right hand corner.

More space for important tools. Elements critical to account management (graphs, tables and tools) are all above the fold for easier optimisation.

Added visibility. Quick view of who is signed in (good for those who work on accounts shared by multiple users).
