A mobile ad platform has created a “self-serve mobile advertising network that serves text and images in a hybrid format resembling a cross between paid search and native ads”. DoApp has a white-label platform which serves as a meeting place for app-builders and small and medium-sized advertisers to buy and sell mobile ad space for apps.
Certainly the capacity is there: “DoApp supports about 1,500 apps for between 200 and 250 media outlets. Collectively, the mobile apps serve more than 500 million monthly mobile ad impressions”. This is a terrific way for app-builders to monetise apps, which might otherwise never see a pound. It’s also a great way for smaller businesses to reach connected audiences on a very manageable budget per day basis.
