Equator’s head of strategy Kate Bordwell has been selected to take part in a prestigious training course for Scotland’s top digital talent.

The Cross Creative Special Edition training programme offers insights into cutting edge advances in digital media and potential international partnerships plus trips to San Francisco and the Silicon Valley in the US to meet some of the world’s top creative and technology innovators.

Kate, who has been at Equator for three years, was one of just nine women to secure a place on the course which is running for the first time this year.

Kate said: “I am delighted to have been chosen to take part in Cross Creative. It’s an amazing opportunity to meet a variety of talented people and see things from lots of points of view. I am looking forward to learning from this, participating with the group, and of course sharing what I learn with my colleagues and clients.”

James Jefferson, Equator’s creative director, said: “We are really proud of Kate for securing a place on this fantastic course. She is passionate about all things digital and strives to ensure Equator stays ahead of the curve on new advances.

“We are really excited about hearing Kate’s experiences in the US and the incredible people she meets and applying some of that knowledge and innovation to the work we do here at Equator.”
