Customised conversion window

This month, Google AdWords has launched the capability to customise your conversion counting window from 7 to 90 days after a click, whilst previously AdWords only counted conversions occurring within 30 days after a click. This will allow users to get a more complete view of the value of their advertising by measuring those conversions that may take longer than 30 days to occur.

This will allow users to get a more complete view of the value of their advertising by measuring those conversions that may take longer than 30 days to occur.

Extending the conversion window also means that the user can measure more repeat purchases from recent customers and discover keywords that play a role in the earlier stages of the conversion funnel, particularly if the shopping cycle is long.
