New Website for The Macallan
A new website and online boutique created by Equator for The Macallan has delivered record breaking sales for the luxury whisky brand.
A limited edition malt created to celebrate the coronation, launched on the same day as the stunning new site, www.themacallan.com, became the fastest selling whisky in The Macallan's 190-year history.
Equator designed and built a stunning, technically sophisticated website which perfectly blends The Macallan's rich heritage with its luxurious and contemporary brand image. The site is fully responsive to all devices.
The Macallan is one of the world's premium single malt whiskies and holds the record for the most expensive bottle of whisky ever bought at auction.
But while it remains a favourite amongst traditional whisky connoisseurs, it's fresh, stylish image is seeing The Macallan grow to become a global lifestyle brand alongside other luxury premium spirits.
The new website will now be rolled out globally with Equator currently working on several foreign language versions.
