Easily Compare Ad Performance over Time
A new feature is being rolled out in AdWords to allow advertisers to compare their current performance with historical data much more easily.
Once 'Compare Dates' has been enabled a new button will appear at the top of a number of columns which will compared this week's data to last week's, along with the percentage change.
Filters can then be applied, such as to view all campaigns which saw a 10% increase in clicks or any other specific change which you would like to view.
This new function will prove to be a major time saver for advertisers, allowing the quick identification of areas where significant changes have occurred, which will then allow any necessary optimisations to be made much more quickly.
