Auction Insights Update
Auction Insights reports in AdWords allow you to get an insight into how your ad performance compares with that of advertisers. For example, you can see how often your competitors' ads are appearing above yours.
In June, AdWords updated this function so that you can now get a 'birds-eye view' of your whole account against your competitors. Previous to this month, you could only get this data one keyword at a time. Now you can run an Auction Insights report to generate data from groups of keywords, individual or multiple ad groups, individual or multiple campaigns, across all keywords in the account or at individual keyword level.
These changes offer additional insights into how to optimize your accounts more efficiently by allowing you to break down areas of the account where competitors have more aggressive activity to alert you on where best to modify your account accordingly.
