The other day, I was asked to present at the Figaro Digital Conference at The Royal College of Physicians in London. (#figdigconf)

I decided that it would be a great opportunity to share our thinking on a new buzzword we've been hearing a lot about lately - Omnichannel.

The presentation was in 'Pecha Kucha' style (21 slides, 21 seconds each) - the perfect way to cover a subject as big as this!

No matter. It was still great to introduce the basic principles of Omnichannel, why we think Omnichannel is important and how it can make business more profitable. As well as distil our thinking down to a few key principles that anyone can start to use right away as they align their business with the connected, mobile consumer.

At Equator, we have always been integrated. Omnichannel is about deeper integration of channels to free consumers up to access them in whatever way suits them.

As such it's a subject that's really close to our hearts. We are already working on strategic Omnichannel initiatives with retail, hospitality, utility and finance businesses.
