Roses Success for Equator
Equator has picked up two awards at the prestigious Roses Creative Awards, dominating the Website of the Year category.
Equator's website for luxury whisky brand The Macallan received the Gold award for Website of the Year, while boutique hotel chain Malmaison's website, also created by the agency, received silver. The stunning responsive sites beat off stiff competition from some of the best websites launched in the UK over the past 12 months.
Equator created a unique digital platform for The Macallan's annual The Masters of Photography competition encapsulating the luxurious and sophisticated brand personality of the premium malt whisky. The socially enabled site included a bespoke voting functionality which saw images grow and shrink depending on their popularity.
The agency also designed and built the cutting-edge, fully mobile responsive website for Malmaison, aimed at seducing visitors to book their next stay direct with the boutique hotel chain. Through the use of striking full screen photography and enticing copy, Equator delivered a striking website unique to the travel industry which has delivered a dramatic increase in online bookings, revenue and conversion rates.
