First off, the report finds that the average UK web user spends 37 hours online (Dec 2012), this is more than any other European market (Turkey was next at 31 hours). Another great stat was that 16% more display ads were published in December 2012 against the same month in 2011, great news for the online advertising industry of course!

There was also a large focus in the report on tablet and smartphone usage - stats such as the massive growth in mobile video (262% in one year) vs regular PC (8%) show the importance advertisers should place in this environment.

Lastly, the report finds that social media sites capture the largest share of display ads (31%).
