£10,000 mobile revenue every HOUR on Affiliate Window
It seems like we've been calling every year in the past five "The Year of Mobile", and admittedly, each one has seen new and exciting developments in mobile commerce.
2012 has seen the UK's largest network, Affiliate Window, introduce device-level tracking to its reporting platform. Affiliate managers can now gather a true picture of the proportion of sales on their programs that are tracked through mobiles, tablets and desktop computers, and compare this to the network averages - statistics which are published monthly by the AW strategy team.
The latest statistics show that almost 11% of total sales were through mobile in October - an 8% increase on September, and an indication of the trend we can expect for 2013. This highlights once more the importance of merchants implementing affiliate tracking on their mobile sites to ensure there is no leakage.
