Last month we spoke about the changes Google had made to the 'rotate evenly' setting for ad delivery and rotation, and this month Google revealed an interesting update to these changes. As of June 11th the even rotation period for ads has been extended from 30 to 90 days.

As well as changes to the time period available for ads to show evenly, Google are now also offering the ability to opt out of these changes. At the moment they are making this option available via filling out an online form but should it prove particularly popular an opt-out may be added directly to the AdWords interface.

The updates to the recent changes could come in handy in certain circumstances, as they essentially extend the time period available for testing ads and, should you wish to do so, allow for the option to rotate ads evenly indefinitely.
