Hotels are Taking Advantage of Social Media

Ushuaia Beach Hotel, one of the premier hotels and party hotspots in Ibiza, were looking for an innovative way to increase their brand awareness and improve guest interactivity with the hotels Facebook. As a result, when each guest checks into the hotel, they are provided with an RFID (radio-frequency identification) wristband which is synced with their personal Facebook account. RFID hubs were installed throughout the hotel which allowed users to Check-In using Facebook places, to upload and tag photos, and to update their status.
