Our latest effort for mobile's new kid on the block is now live.

We are proud to announce the launch of our campaign to promote HTCs new phone, the Diamond 2.

This is a serious piece of kit. It operates on a beautifully customised version of windows mobile so it not only has a lot of features the interface looks amazing too, with more stunning details than your average phone.

The handset itself is the really special bit - it's a gorgeous, minimal, stainless steel piece of loveliness. As you can guess, we really loved playing with the sample we were given to work with.

The campaign

We developed a concept that built on the above-the-line work that had already been done but put a stronger focus on the stunning detailing on this phone. We contrasted close-up motion graphics of the phone with dramatic large-scale type to create a look that has drama, impact and a strong sense of attention to detail.

We engineered a simultaneous launch in 8 countries in Europe (Norway, Denmark, Sweden, UK, France, Holland, Poland and the Czech republic).

To promote the phone in these locations we have created a suite of materials:

  • Localised microsites that feature interactive guides to all the phones features and link to local operators.
  • Localised rich media banners including interactive, expanding and video formats
  • Several site take-overs and re-skins
  • Localised widgets that are seeded through all major online social spaces including Facebook, Google Gadgets, Microsoft Gallery, Yahoo Widgets, Mac Dashboard and many more!

The results

None as yet. It's early days, but we will keep you posted. Early feedback has certainly been good so we have our fingers crossed.
