Our work took the website through a variety of iterations, each more effective than the last. The final version had a booking engine reduced from 14 stages to 5 simple steps, interactive Park tours, video and image galleries as well as a structure designed to look beautiful to Google as well as your average human being.
The result was that it acheived a conversion to sale of over 7%, an exceptional level for a site with so many booking options. 7% is all very well but what we're most happy about is beating Expedia in a usability poll in Travolution (a travel industry magazine). I say beating, it's more like whipping!
