So much marketing in the financial sector is based around trivialising a product that's deemed inherently boring. Sorry for the rant but that's where our thinking started when we were challenged with creating a brand new site for Scotland's largest building society.

So much marketing in the financial sector is based around trivialising a product that's deemed inherently boring. Sorry for the rant but that's where our thinking started when we were challenged with creating a brand new site for Scotland's largest building society.

Looking around at competitor websites, we found lots of words and pretty pictures but little to genuinely help you to understand the differences between products and which would best suit your financial situation.

The first phase in our work for Dunfermline is now live and presents a clean to-the-point face with features like the Product Guide and 'Bob' the friendly contextual help facility.

This phase of the site's development is the first of many each of which will build on a platform that helps make it easy for visitors to understand the products on offer and to find the one that best suits.
