English sportswear supplier Umbro has over 90 years’ experience in creating and selling football kits, goalkeeper gloves, footballs and boots. From humble beginnings in a workshop in Cheshire, Umbro products are now sold in over 90 countries around the globe. The company’s big break came in 1934, when both teams in the FA Cup final (Manchester City and Portsmouth) wore Umbro strips. Since then, the company has been bought by Nike, and then sold by the sports giant. Umbro is now a subsidiary of American company Iconix Brand Group.
