Financial Times

The Financial Times is one of the world’s leading business and economic newspapers, known for its pink paper (a move which began in 1893 to distinguish it from the Financial News – a rival paper which the FT bought over in 1945). With an average daily readership of 2 million people across the globe, the FT decided to move into the digital world in 1995. The now has 4.5 million registered users and over 285,000 digital subscribers, as well as 600,000 paying users. The Financial Times Group was sold in July 2015 to Nikkei, a Japanese publication company, for £844m.
