Lee Cooper

Lee Cooper is an English clothing company which creates branded jeans, clothing, footwear and accessories. With 4000 outlets and 600 branded stores in over 100 countries across the world, Lee Cooper is the oldest European denim brand, having sold jeans since 1908. Originally known for its workwear, the company grew to make uniforms, kit bags and rucksacks for the British Army during the First World War. It was after the war that the company moved its focus to casual wear and denim production – leading to its current positioning as a lifestyle brand. Lee Cooper was acquired by Florida based investment company Sun Capital Partners in May 2005, and has continued to grow since.
