The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is a British public service broadcaster. Since its launch in 1927, the BBC has grown to cover radio, TV and digital, with channels including BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Four and online channel BBC Three, as well as specialised channels such as BBC Parliament, BBC Alba, and children’s channel Cbeebies and CBBC. Approximately a quarter of the BBC’s revenues come from its commercial arm - BBC Worldwide Ltd. This section of the business sells BBC programmes and services internationally and also distributes BBC World News.
