Equator are once again delighted to have been placed on the Econsultancy top 100 digital agencies list as Scotland’s number 1 independent agency. We are also extremely pleased to be in the top 10 of the largest independent design & build agencies in the UK which, with all the competition out there, is a pretty good result.

In six short years, we've moved up the list by more than 20 places thanks to the ongoing dedication of all the EQTR family, and our clients' willingness to continuously push boundaries.

The Econsultancy top 100 is the “definitive listing of the UK’s largest digital agencies” and as such we are extremely pleased to be a part of it once again.

The in-depth report can be downloaded here and lists the UK’s top 100 digital marketing, design and build, technical and creative agencies. It also features editorial content looking at the current state of the industry and digital agency profiles, including information such as contact details and key clients, as well as seven case studies of agencies demonstrating digital excellence.

Scotland’s no. 1 independent agency

The ranking system is based on income from digital activities within the UK, defined as: “the money that agencies retain after any bought-in third-party costs have been paid.”

The report not only provides crucial insights into the current industry landscape but is also a really useful tool for helping inform client decisions on picking the right partner to help them achieve their unique goals and objectives. It also features some additional insights gained from the responses submitted by the agencies who made this year’s cut, including:

  • What market sectors are targeted by your agency?
  • How much of your net fee income for the last financial year comes from digital?
  • Which other agency's work do you most respect?
  • Which person from another agency has been most influential in the past 12 months?

This is our 13th time appearing in the report – which has been running since 2002 - and is testament to our efforts to keep making the best work possible. We look forward to continuing to improve our place among the UK’s top 100 digital agencies in 2019!
