Walking through the front door of Equator, you might be
surprised by the noise. It's the noise of communication; everyone
is encouraged to get out of their chairs and talk about projects,
campaigns and how Equator as a whole should do things.
The studio is therefore not a place for shrinking violets;
healthy debate and collaboration is how it operates. Equator feels
like a big family not a big corporate; office politics are banned
and speaking out of turn is positively encouraged.
We realised early on that involvement at all levels is vital to
creating a coherent and committed team. That's why we all get
together each month for a pow-wow about how things are going; every
year for a steering session about the future of our business; and
regularly in-between for nights and days out throughout the
year.
The result of this collaborative development is a unique company
structure and character; one in which everyone works and plays
together. As well as one that's uniquely able to adapt to the
quick-changing sector in which we work.
That's enough of that
We are very proud of the work we do and the enjoyable place of
work we've created, but we are not big on chest-beating. We are not
a celebrity agency spending more time talking about what we do than
actually doing it. We are proud that, on the strength of our work
alone, we have become one of the largest and most respected digital
