Mentholatum Website
With a reputation spanning over 100 years the Mentholatum
Company benefits from global recognition and is widely acknowledged
as a leader in the sale of topical pain relief products.
You are unlikely to have heard of Mentholatum but you are likely
to have heard of the well known brands in their portfolio which
includes Deep Heat and OXY.
As a result we were very excited to be asked to redesign their
site to be more in line with their brand values.
The site we created aims to present information in a clear,
easy-to-follow manner at all times.
In fact we treated the Mentholatum corporate site as a
(beautifully crafted) blank slate, onto which we could layer the
very different and visually striking brands they own.
The Mentholatum site is primarily a B2B site, however having
investigated user behaviour, we discovered that it could perform a
commercial cross-sell task of making people aware of other
Mentholatum brands.
To achieve this we created brand-specific areas which could
easily be found by people searching in Google, and connected this
to a hub on the Mentholatum site that allowed visitors to
investigate the different products and determine which product(s)
best suit their needs.
