Making Pretty Polly Popular

Pretty Polly is one of the UK's best known producers of women's hosiery.

The company has been running for over 80 years and has consistently been at the forefront of women's fashion.

Equator was commissioned to develop their website in order to showcase their wide range of underwear and hosiery products.

The objective of the Pretty Polly website is to showcase a selection of their vast selection of women's hosiery and underwear ranges.

Pretty Polly needed a site where each range could have its own distinct personality, while still conforming to an overarching framework.

Although, not an e-commerce website, the Pretty Polly website has proven to be a powerful communication and data acquisition tool, where content managed sections allow Pretty Polly to publish news and launch new competitions in a flash.

The main design challenge when creating the Pretty Polly website was to create an all flash framework which not only has a clear hierarchy, easy to use interface and miniscule load times, but also enables each section to successfully carry its own personality and theme.
