Patrick Bjorkman has joined Equator as Creative Director.
Patrick will oversee Equator’s 18-strong design and creative team, overseeing high profile client accounts including Rocco Forte, Tesco Bank, AXA PPP healthcare and Disney.
His predecessor James Jefferson, co-owner and founder of Equator, will take on a Chief Creative Officer role, working on the wider strategy of the business and focusing on the growth of the agency’s offices in Glasgow and Manhattan office.
Patrick, who is originally from Sweden, has more than 15 years design and digital experience. He previously spent six years at Equator before joining Peach Digital as Creative Director in 2010.
James Jefferson said: “We are privileged to have Patrick back on the Equator team. He is truly one of the country’s best creative minds and I am excited about introducing him to our clients and the valuable contribution he will undoubtedly make to our projects, team development and the on-going growth of Equator.”
Patrick added: “It’s great to be back at Equator. The company has expanded hugely over the past four years and grown up in many ways, but the culture remains unchanged. There is still the same buzz and sense of excitement and adventure.
“Equator has always produced exceptional work. My role is to help the team continue to do that and push the standards up even higher, creating even more amazing work.”
